Team lead, architect, database administrator (of SQL Servers [7, 2000, 2005 and
2008] hosting integration databases) and core engineer of all following listed integration
projects. Responsible for integration requirements collection, analysis, finalization,
effort estimates, resource estimates, projected timelines and core development.
Responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining various Microsoft SQL Server
instances specific to integration databases. Worked closely with internal (ADP)
and external technical infrastructure teams for databases capacity planning, repository
allocation and maintaining data confidentiality with high availability. Proactively

ADP F&I
(formerly w.e.b.F&I) and ADP Credit (formerly w.e.b.Credit) Integration:
Team lead, architect and core engineer for implementing ADP Credit systems integrations
to enhance ADP F&I existing credit functionality and provide ADP Clients one place
to check customer credit, verify customer identity, check customer information against
the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) terrorist list,
access ADP’s Red Flag solution, ability to send and receive lender credit applications
with e-contracting.
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:
- Participated in integration requirements gathering and finalization process. Analyzed
business requirement and defined technical details of the solution.
- Produced effort and resource estimate and projected project timelines.
- Performed core integration development activities to send deal information from
ADP F&I to DealerTrack, RouteOne, BMW Financial Services, FinanceSource (Audi, Bentley,
VW) or Captive Finance provider through ADP Credit without retyping same information
again.
- Defined integration systems structure, performed data mapping, enhanced database
schema and developed prototype.
- Coded stored procedures and functions for secure data communication layer and batch
processing requirements.
- Enhanced web enabled client/server PowerBuilder application for single sign-on (SSO)

ADP F&I
and MenuVentage Integration:
This integration is to take human error, forgetfulness and possible liability out
of the equation for ADP Clients while selling more warranties, insurances, and dealer-installed
options.

- Participated in integration requirements gathering, analyzing and finalization process.
- Produced effort and resource estimate and projected project timelines.
- Developed integration framework using PowerBuilder, C++, XML and SQL Server 2005.
- Coded stored procedures, triggers, views and nightly batch processing jobs on SQL
Server 2005 to handle incoming external application data loading and reporting requirements.
Highlights:
- Successfully accomplished key integration goals in proof of concept phase including
matching of F&I numbers (price, add-ons, payments, residual, down, rebate and tax)
in MenuVentage, ADP F&I and Elite DMS.
- ADP forcast is a 30% increase in dealers back-end grosses profit with utilization

ADP F&I
and ADP Desking (formerly w.e.b.Desking) Integration:
Team lead, architect and core engineer to develop integration which enabled ADP
Clients to work on solutions with guaranteed access to latest rates, residual, tax
and different programs information - updated by ADP directly from the manufacturers
and banks to provide dealers accurate and up-to-date deal information for maintaining
profit edge.
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:
- Analyzed integration requirements and created PDLC documentation including data
mapping documentations.
- Created integration architecture for secure interface between both applications,
using PowerBuilder, T-SQL, C++, XML, to transfer data through web services.
- Successfully implemented SSO enabled integration and achieved key integration goals
including matching of finance data in both applications at any point of deal life
cycle, no data re-entry and enhanced productivity to increase profit margin.

ADP F&I
and ADP Vehicle (formerly w.e.b.Vehicle) Integration:
This integration provided F&I and sales managers tools to make better sales decisions
with access to vehicle history reports through ADP AutoCheck Express (by Experian).
Access to different kinds of market data PVA Alerts for aging vehicles & narrowing
profit margins enabled them to make right decisions and capitalize profit.
Highlights:
- This integration increased ADP Clients profit by selling more cars while reducing
inventory time and vehicle stocking cost.
ADP F&I
and ADP CRM (formerly w.e.b.CRM) Integration:
This challenging integration between two enterprise-level applications streamlined
mega dealers business by giving them access to huge collection of ADP CRM solutions
(covering BDC tools including lead, campaign, customer management resources and
also direct marketing services including ADP Data Mining, ADP Network Phone, ADP
CustomerTouch and ADP Digital Marketing).
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:
- After evaluating SSIS functionality against data integration requirements, designed,
developed and implemented customized ETL framework using dynamic stored procedures
on SQL Server 2005.
- Mapped databases for both applications to create a rock-solid process for consistent
data integration for any automotive organization using ADP's integrated solutions
and services.
- Enhanced PowerBuilder application architect functionality to integrate with ASP.NET
application at functional/UI level.
- Created complex stored procedures to process ADP F&I front-end functionality on
back-end and return on line real-time results to ADP CRM users for accelerating
dealership marketing and sales process, improving customer satisfaction, and driving-in
profit.
- Provided outstanding support and integration enhancements after every new release
of ADP F&I and/or ADP CRM to keep this integration seamless and productive.
- Created integration testing utility, using Visual Basic, for R&D to generate request-XMLs

CARMan
and ADP Elite DMS Integration:
This rock-solid integration of legacy enterprise system with consistent two way
data flow between ADP different applications and Elite DMS enabled various ADP applications
and legacy DMS to communicate and transfer data internally and externally to ADP
Vendors. Innovative solution used to build this integration produced ADP F&I which
captured largest auto clients share in State of California in last 3 years.
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:
- As ADP F&I integration team lead, collaborated along with internal and external
(ADP’s approved vendors) teams to design and develop integration between ADP cores
applications.
- Created architect-level PowerScript functions in PowerBuilder to allow integration
with ADP's internal and external (ADP approved vendors) applications with CARMan/w.e.b.F&I.
- Wrote dataload and reporting procedures detailing the performance of benchmarked
data.
Highlights:
- Complicated and sophisticated but successful integration is constantly driving huge
profit to ADP Clients on every deal they close today.
CARMan
Integrations with Automotive Directions (AD) and Right Relationship 360 (RR360):
Various data integrations, including CARMan integrations with AD and RR360, produced
key BI data which in turn enabled ADP executives and managers to evaluate different
applications performance for making better strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments:
- Created communication utility (SocketMan) using Visual Basic, to communicate data
securely
- Created integration testing utility, using VB, for R&D to generate request-XMLs
and test complete interface cycle – both upload and download processes during development
and QA to speed up process
- Mapped integration data fields and wrote dynamic stored procedures on SQL Server
2000 to pull & push data
- Successful integration provided BI data for reporting
Highlights:
- Those data integrations played the key role to capture auto industry market share
and also improve quality of products and services offered by ADP.
In all above listed integration projects, I performed data mapping, created business
rules and SQL objects for customized ETL to provide data for BI and perform functional
and data level integrations. Designed and developed integration specific databases
and DB objects to accommodate complex back-end logic. I also created ADP F&I integration
SOA by modifying PowerBuilder 6.5 datawindow interior communication process. I independently
developed PowerBuilder framework to use XML filled blobs by calling external C++
methods to access APIs through ISAPI. Created & managed documentation in SharePoint
for ADP Executives, BAs, R&D, QA, NTS and other groups.
